Landforms

1.Some landforms are high areas of land.

1. mountain: summit- slope- foot
2. hill: lower than mountains.
   
3. mountain range: a group of mountains.

2.Some landforms are low areas of land .

1. valley: between mountains
   
2. plain:flat area of land
   
3. plateau: flat area of land that is higher than the land around. 
   

Rivers 

They are formed in the mountains.

1. source: where the river begins.
   
2. tributary: small river that joins a bigger river.
   
3. mouth: where the river meets the ocean or sea.
   

Lakes 

Area of land completely surrounded by water.
