Unit 2: Our body
We are going to study about five body systems:- Circulatory system
- Respiratory system
- Digestive system
- Excretory system
- Reproductive systems: Female and male reproductive systems
Every system in our body is made up of important parts called ORGANS.
Circulatory system
It moves blood through the heart and around the body in the arteries and veins.
Bloods give your body nutrients and oxygen.
The heart is divided into four parts: The left and right atriums and the left and right ventricles.
Respiratory system
- It helps us breath.
- We breath in air through our nose and mouth.
- The air goes down the trachea into our lungs.
- Our lungs transfer the oxygen to the circulatory system, where it moves around our body.
- Our lungs also help release carbon dioxide when we breath out.
