Countable and uncountable nouns
Countable nouns have a plural form.
    a lemon      ___     some lemons
    an orange  ___     some oranges
Uncountable nouns don´t have a plural form or are amounts of food / drink that is difficult to count.
    rice
    fruit
water
salt
sugar
flour
Some nouns can be both, countable and uncountable. 
a melon some melon
an icecream some icecream
