Unit 5. Matter and energy

Everything on our planet and in the universe is made up of matter.

Matter has different properties, such as state, size and shape.

The three states of matter are solid, liquid and gas.

     Solids have a definite shape (the shape             doesn´t change when you put a solid in a         different container).

     Liquids and gases do not have a definite         shape (they take on the shape of their             container ).
