Word of the day: A river

A river is water that flows naturally through a wide channel that is surrounded by land. 

The Manzanares river crosses through the city of Madrid.  

Rivers carry fresh water.

 The Manzanares river is a *tributary of the Jarama river. And this is a tributary of the Tajo river.
